Dubbed as the very first authentic Spanish tapas bar in Kuala Lumpur, La Bodega was founded in December 1999. It has since become a reputable bar that brought tapas culture into the city. Throughout the years, La Bodega has expanded to accommodate the growing number of guests. Currently, it consists of a bistro with formal dining area next door, lounge and deli. In addition to that, La Bodega also owns another outlet in the city.

Other specialties served in the restaurant are Chuletas de cordero a la parrilla (grilled lamb cutlets gratinated with mayonnaise), Queso de Mahon Frito (deep fried cheese served with sun dried tomato paste), Salchichas al Diablo (spicy chicken sausage sautéed with onion, chilli and tomato), and many more scrumptious dishes.
